CogMIR 2013 Seminar Details:

The third annual seminar on cognitively based music informatics research (CogMIR) was held on August 7, 2013, at the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre, Room ENG-LG14, 245 Church Street, Ryerson University, Toronto. The seminar focused on cognitive approaches relevant to music informatics research, inclusive of music analysis, music generation, music information retrieval, and computational modelling.

Keynote speakers for CogMIR 2013 were:

• David Temperley, Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester
• Marcus Pearce, Queen Mary, University of London

CogMIR 2013 was held as a satellite meeting of SMPC 2013.
